HASC Hub Event: Advancing All-Spectrum Connectivity Research

The recent “Hub in All Spectrum Connectivity” (HASC) meeting brought together expertise from across the UK to drive forward the next phase of the Hub’s research program. The meeting focused on updates to the Hub’s four core challenges, the JOINER infrastructure project, introduced new collaborators, and included discussions on the Hub’s contributions to Mobile World Congress 2025.

Quote from Dominic O’Brien

“It was great to welcome almost 40 of our researchers from across the UK to Oxford. We had a very productive set of discussions, with presentations from our new partners. There are many opportunities for collaboration and we will be taking these forward in the coming months”

Quote from Dimitra Simeonidou

‘’It is exciting to see the progress in HASC in terms of new technologies and AI platforms for new spectrum bands in future mobile networks. I am looking forward to hosting HASC prototypes in the JOINER testbed and support new research on system level spectrum allocation and management.’’

The Hub is supported by substantial investment from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), part of UK Research and Innovation, and the UK Department of Science, Innovation and Technology. Grant References: EP/Y037197/1/ EP/X040569/1
